During the meeting emphasis was placed on development perspectives that can be exploited to incorporate European Commission president Jean-Claude Junker’s development package in the ESP program, both for the investment in products and passenger transportation in Greece, and to stimulate the Greek economy in general. Negotiations have already begun with European shipyards for the first 13 ships out of 38 planned.
