OceanFinance participated at the one day workshop that was organized by the General Secretariat of Ports, Port Policy and Maritime Investments on Friday, 11th of November 2016. Subject of the workshop that took place in the Hall of Commerce and Industry Chamber of Piraeus were the “Maritime Corridors and Ports – Trans-European Transport Network Projects”.

Mr. Christos Lampridis, General Secretary of Ports, Port Policy and Maritime Investments, in his keynote speech delignated the content of the workshop setting the goals, which were the presentation and evaluation of the concluded Trans-European Transport Network projects, the presentation of on-going projects and inform attendees on the new framework of the TEN-T Network, as well as new calls.

Dr. Panayotis Zacharioudakis was among the speakers presenting the past TEN-T projects, COSTA I and COSTA II/POSEIDON MED in which OceanFinance has been part holding the role of the Greek State coordinator.

The workshop also attended the Minister of Shipping and Maritime Policy, Mr. Panagiotis Kouroumblis and the Deputy Minister, Mr. Nektarios Santorinios, who commenced the proceedings endorsing the initiative of the Secretariat.
